Students collect and represent numerical data, including fractions, using tables, stem-and-leaf plots, and line plots.
In a stem-and-leaf plot, the stem is usually the tens digit and the leaf is the ones digit, so 6 | 2 7 means 62 and 67. In a line plot, each X marks one data value on a number line, which can be marked in fractions such as halves or fourths.
