Terms of Service
Last updated: October 8, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of FastChomp, an educational service operated by Tropical Learning LLC. By creating a parent account or using FastChomp, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Parent accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Children use student profiles under the supervision and responsibility of their parent or legal guardian.
2. Educational Purpose
FastChomp provides supplemental math practice, progress tracking, and parent-managed rewards. It is not a school, accredited educational institution, or tutoring service, and does not guarantee grades, assessment scores, or specific academic outcomes.
3. Florida Standards and Assessments
Content may be organized around Florida B.E.S.T. Mathematics Standards and skills relevant to Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) assessments. FastChomp is an independent service and is not affiliated with, approved by, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Florida Department of Education. Practice content is not official FAST test material.
4. Parent Accounts and Student Profiles
Parents are responsible for providing accurate account information, safeguarding their login credentials, managing student profiles, and supervising children's use of the service. Student login credentials should be kept private and used only by the intended student.
You must not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, circumvent access restrictions, or misuse FastChomp content or systems.
5. Parental Consent and Children's Privacy
Before creating a student profile, a parent or legal guardian must complete FastChomp's parental consent process. This involves requesting a verification email, opening its time-limited link, reviewing the Children's Privacy Notice, selecting an initially unchecked consent checkbox, and explicitly confirming consent. Opening the email link alone does not confirm consent.
Parents may withdraw consent through their FastChomp account. After withdrawal, student access is blocked until valid parental consent is provided again. Withdrawal does not, by itself, delete an existing student profile; parents may separately request or perform deletion.
For details about children's information, parental rights, and deletion requests, please read our Children's Privacy Notice and Privacy Policy.
6. Plans and Billing
FastChomp offers free and paid plans with features, usage limits, and student limits described in the service. Paid subscriptions renew at the price and frequency disclosed at checkout unless canceled. Applicable taxes, if any, will be presented at checkout.
Payments and subscription billing are processed through third-party payment providers. Parents are responsible for managing their subscriptions and keeping their payment information current.
7. Cancellation, Plan Changes, and Refunds
Parents may manage or cancel paid subscriptions using the account or billing controls made available by FastChomp. Cancellation prevents future renewals. Paid access generally remains available until the end of the current billing period, subject to the terms presented at checkout. Changes to a plan may affect available features and the number of active student profiles.
All subscription payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Canceling a subscription does not refund payments already processed. For billing errors, duplicate charges, or unauthorized transactions, please contact support@fastchomp.app. For more information, review our Refund Policy.
8. Rewards and Gamification
FastChomp may award points, badges, achievements, and other in-app progress indicators. These do not have monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Parents define, manage, and fulfill any parent-created rewards offered to their children. Tropical Learning LLC does not supply or guarantee fulfillment of those rewards.
9. Content and Intellectual Property
FastChomp software, branding, mascot, designs, and original educational content are owned by Tropical Learning LLC or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, you may use the service for its intended personal and family educational purposes. You may not improperly reproduce, distribute, resell, or commercially exploit its content or software.
10. Accuracy and Availability
We work to provide useful educational content and a reliable service. However, questions, answers, and explanations may occasionally contain errors, and features or availability may change. Parents and students may report content issues for review.
11. Suspension, Termination, and Deletion
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect security, prevent misuse, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. Parents may request deletion of their accounts or student profiles, subject to applicable legal and record-retention obligations.
12. Disclaimers and Limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FastChomp is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation or particular educational results. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
