Students plot, order, and compare decimals up to the hundredths using number lines and place value, explain their reasoning, and use <, >, or =.
Compare the ones first, then the tenths, then the hundredths. Writing a zero at the end (0.7 = 0.70) can make two decimals easier to compare, because it doesn't change the value.
